QCD ?-vacuum in a uniform magnetic field

We study the ?-vacuum of QCD using two-flavor chiral perturbation theory (?PT) in presence a uniform, background magnetic field calculating field-dependent free energy density, topological susceptibility and fourth cumulant at one-loop order. find that is enhanced by while diminished weak fields larger when ?=0. However, vacuum with ??0, can be either monotonically or relative to their values. The also exhibits monotonic enhancement suppression except for regions ? near 0 2?, where it both enhanced. Finally, density all its shift being identical up down quark condensates ?-vacuum.
